Trump trade tariffs
Professor Markus Wagner can talk about US President Donald Trump and trade tariffs. is an internationally recognised expert in international economic law and governance, international peace and security, as well as US and Australian constitutional law. He is the Director of the Transnational Law and Policy Centre at UOW.
ABS data release – Labour Force Survey (Thursday 15 May)
Professor Martin O’Brien can discuss the ABS Labour Force Statistics which will be released on Thursday 15 May. He can discuss employment, unemployment, underemployment, participation and hours worked in April 2025 from the monthly Labour Force Survey. is an economist and the Director of the Centre for Human and Social Capital Research.
Parents’ screen time may hinder child development
Marcelo Toledo-Vargas can talk about that reveals parents’ use of technology in their child’s presence was associated with poorer cognition and social behaviour outcomes and increased screen time among young children. Mr Toledo-Vargas is a PhD candidate in the School of Social Sciences. His research examines the impact of parental screen use on the health and development of preschoolers.

Professor Karen Charlton can discuss the importance of women consuming more protein during perimenopause. is a research dietician in the School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences.
Food co-ops can improve diet and reduce food insecurity
Dr Katherine Kent is available for interviews about new research which reveals food co-operatives can improve diets and reduce food insecurity. In an article Dr Kent co-authored for , she writes:
